·         Professor Lee Dohwan (Department of Electrical Engineering) Wins 1st Place in the 1st 2024 Editage Scholarship for Early-Career Researchers

Professor Lee Dohwan (Department of Electrical Engineering, pictured on the right) from our university secured 1st place in the inaugural Editage Scholarship Competition, winning a scholarship of 10 million KRW. Editage (editage.co.kr) is a research paper and academic platform that provides professional editing, academic translation, and publication support services to help scholars, researchers, scientists, and authors publish their papers at the highest quality.

The Editage Scholarship, aimed at early-career researchers (born on or after December 31, 1984, or within seven years of earning a doctorate), evaluated research-related English essays in the first round to select the top 10 candidates, with final rankings determined through interviews.

Among them, Professor Lee Dohwan won 1st place with his English essay titled "Redefining POC Devices: Beyond the Legacy of PDMS and Paper."

Meanwhile, Professor Lee Dohwan joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at our university in 2024 and is currently conducting research on biosensors and point-of-care diagnostics.
