"Challenge! K-Startup" is the largest startup competition in Korea, jointly organized by 10 government ministries, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, to promote a broader startup culture. The competition awards certificates, including the Presidential Award, to the top 20 teams. "Challenge! K-Startup" has established itself as a gateway for promising K-startups. This year, a total of 6,238 teams participated, resulting in a highly competitive ratio of 312 to 1.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups held the "Challenge! K-Startup 2024" Grand Finale at COEX in Seoul, featuring public presentations by 15 pre-startup teams and 15 startup teams that advanced to the finals. The event concluded with the announcement of the 20 final award-winning teams.

Among them, Articron Co., founded by Professor Jeong Han-Ul, was recognized as an outstanding startup for its excellent technological capabilities and superior performance compared to competitors in the design of customized ultra-high-efficiency AI semiconductors. This achievement earned the company the Encouragement Award, presented by the Minister of SMEs and Startups.

Professor Jeong Han-Ul said, "I am truly delighted to receive such a meaningful award and sincerely thank my team members and mentors who supported us along the way. Using this award as a stepping stone, I will strive to further grow Articron Co. by leveraging its technological excellence and commitment to customer satisfaction, while working to create positive change."

Meanwhile, in addition to cash prizes and certificates, the winners of "Challenge! K-Startup" are also granted follow-up support benefits, such as preferential evaluation in next year's startup commercialization support programs, including the Pre-Startup, Early-Stage, and Scale-Up Packages.
