The UAUS Exhibition is an annual pavilion design
competition for university students, organized by the Union of Architecture
University Students and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. A total of 25
universities participate, making it a significant event now in its 13th year. The
exhibition and various events are held with the goal of popularizing
architecture and fostering exchanges among architecture students. This year,
under the theme [Collage HAUS: Rediscovery of Housing], the event explored what
modern housing should be, addressing the diverse issues arising from the
increased use of online spaces.
The award-winning students participated in the “Seoul
Architecture Festival,” held from Wednesday, October 2, 2024, to Wednesday,
October 30, 2024. They also took part in the “Re:Green Suraksan Eco Design
Festival” from Friday, October 25, to Sunday, October 27, 2024, where they
continuously explored various possibilities using pavilions.
Professor Yoojin Seo, who guided the students, said,
“It is all the more meaningful and delightful because it is the result of
lower-year students working diligently throughout the summer break,” and added,
“I want to express words of encouragement and support to the students.”
