·         Kwangwoon University Sports Medicine and Nutrition Research Team Wins Kwangwoon University President's Award at the 2024 Startup Competition

The Sports Medicine and Nutrition Research Team from Kwangwoon University won the Kwangwoon University President's Award at the "IMPACT on GANGBUK Startup Competition - Startups to Transform Gangbuk," held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

"IMPACT on GANGBUK Startup Competition - Startups to Transform Gangbuk," organized by the Gangbuk Startup Support Center, aimed to promote the development of the Gangbuk district and featured a total of 13 participating teams.

The Kwangwoon University team (Dr. Gi-woong Noh, Master's students Hyuk Lee and Gi-tae Song, and Professor Seok Park) won the Kwangwoon University President's Award for their project titled "Development of Customized Nutritional Drinks for the Prevention of Sarcopenia in the Elderly in Gangbuk District."

Dr. Gi-woong Noh, who gave the presentation, said, "It was meaningful to exchange various ideas and share insights for the development of the local community while preparing the paper," adding, "We plan to continue conducting related research in the future."

The event was attended by Kwangwoon University President Jangho Chun, Gangbuk District Mayor Soon-hee Lee, and Gangbuk District Council Chair Myung-hee Kim, among others.
