  The 2nd Session of the “2024 Seoul Startup Relay Class” Concludes Successfully

- Aimed at expanding the startup culture and enhancing the capabilities of aspiring entrepreneurs -

- Offers practical support to aspiring entrepreneurs, featuring a startup lecture by Ho-ik Lee, CEO of LK Ventures, known for “Life Four Cuts” -

 

On Friday, August 30, 2024, Kwangwoon University's NCI Startup Package Project Team (headed by Director Chul-hwan Park) successfully concluded the “BTS (Born To Steve Jobs) Success Notes” event. This program is part of the Pre-Startup Package Program run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups at Kwangwoon University, aimed at expanding the startup culture and strengthening the capabilities of aspiring entrepreneurs.

The "Part 2 Talk Concert," was moderated by Don-kyu Han, Team Leader at FuturePlay and featured panelists Geon-hee Do, Investment Officer at Mashup Ventures, Seul-beom Ham, Investment Officer at Bluepoint Partners, Sang-hoon Han, Investment Officer at Infobank, and Beom-gyu Choi, Investment Officer at Sopoong Ventures (Photo provided by the Kwangwoon University Industry-Academic Collaboration Foundation).

 

The event was organized by Kwangwoon University's NCI Startup Package Project Team and featured experienced senior entrepreneurs and startup experts sharing their successful startup experiences and insights. They raised awareness of entrepreneurship, provided strategies for securing funding, overcoming fear of failure, and shared various startup case studies to offer solutions to the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

 

In the "Part 1 Startup Lecture," Ho-ik Lee, CEO of LK Ventures, the company behind "Life Four Cuts," shared his journey of entrepreneurship, discussing his motivations, challenges, overcoming obstacles, and growth. His story deeply resonated with the audience. During the Q&A session, CEO Lee offered practical advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, drawing from his experience as a seasoned business leader.

 

In the “Part 2 Talk Concert,” moderated by Don-kyu Han from FuturePlay, featured an open discussion with panelists Geon-hee Do from Mashup Ventures, Seul-beom Ham from Bluepoint Partners, Sang-hoon Han from Infobank, and Beom-gyu Choi from Sopoong Ventures. They candidly shared their expert insights on starting a business and raising investment and held an in-depth Q&A session. The panel also provided information on future support programs during the concert.

 

Approximately 200 participants, including members of the general public and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in Kwangwoon University’s 2024 Pre-Startup Package, attended the event, demonstrating strong interest. For those unable to attend in person, the event was also streamed live on YouTube.

 

Chul-hwan Park, Director of Kwangwoon University's NCI Startup Package Project Team, stated, "I hope the Seoul Startup Relay Class will provide practical support to aspiring entrepreneurs. At Kwangwoon University's NCI Startup Package Project Team, we will continue to expand our startup support activities through various approaches and ongoing communication."

 

The first “2024 Seoul Startup Relay Class: BTS (Born To Steve Jobs) Success Notes” held in July was also successfully concluded, and this second event also received positive feedback, with many participants finding it practically helpful.
