Chanheum Han, a Ph.D. candidate, and Ki-Soo Lee, a master’s student from the research team of Professor Joo-Hyung Chae (Department of Electronics and Communications) at Kwangwoon University, received the Best Poster Award at the 2024 IDEC Chip Design Contest. The contest was held on July 9 at the IC Design Education Center (IDEC) headquarters in Daejeon.

The researchers presented their validated IC chip design results, which aim to improve energy efficiency in next-generation memory such as GDDR7, supported by the Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) service from IDEC. Their innovative ideas and the excellence of their research were recognized with the Best Poster Award.
