Talk Show ' Cheongbaji (What Youth Want Right Now)' with Alumni

- Featuring Former Minister Young Lee (Mathematics) and Congressman Yong-tae Kim (Environmental Engineering) -

 

The talk show ' Cheongbaji (What Youth Want Right Now)' with alumni was held on May 30th from 5 PM for an hour in Room 101 of Saebit Hall at Kwangwoon University.

 

At this event, former Minister Young Lee, who graduated from Kwangwoon University with a degree in Mathematics (enrolled in 1989), and Congressman Yong-tae Kim, who graduated with a degree in Environmental Engineering (enrolled in 2010), spoke. They discussed the anxieties and concerns young people experience in their lives and held a Q&A session afterward.

 

Former Minister Young Lee graduated as the valedictorian from Kwangwoon University, earned a master's degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from KAIST, and has held positions such as CEO of Teruten Co., Ltd., President of the Korea Women Venture Association, member of the 21st National Assembly, and Minister of SMEs and Startups. She has also been recognized with awards such as 'Outstanding Lawmaker in the 2021 National Assembly Audit' chosen by Korean Youth Governance and the 'Communication Grand Prize for National Assembly Members' at the 13th Korea Communication Awards.

 

Congressman Yong-tae Kim, elected in the 22nd general election as the representative for Pocheon and Gapyeong in Gyeonggi Province, graduated from Kwangwoon University with a degree in Environmental Engineering and earned a master's degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from Korea University's Green School Graduate School. He has served as a senior member of the People Power Party.
