Kwangwoon University's Robotics Game Team, held a public exhibition of the
newly developed mobile-based robot 'KULS' on the second floor lobby of
Kwangwoon University's 80th Anniversary Building on May 8th. The event will
continue until May 9th, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Through
this exhibition, "RO:BIT" demonstrated the various functions and
technologies of the newly introduced 'KULS' and also provided an opportunity
for participants to directly control the robot.
In
particular, officials from the Japanese Private University Association and the
Korea Association for University Foundations, who came to Kwangwoon University
for the promotion of exchange cooperation projects, visited 'RO:BIT's public
exhibition to take a look at the
excellent technology of the newly introduced 'KULS'.
"RO:BIT"
has been dedicated to developing new models since November last year to lead
the robot sports culture with advanced technology, and completed 'KULS' based
on mobile technology at the end of April.
'RO:BIT,' founded
on November 1, 2006 as the first robot sports game team in Korea, symbolizes
the robot (ROBOT), Kwangwoon's IT, and Kwangwoon's educational philosophy 'True
Light,' and has participated in numerous domestic and international robot
competitions, winning over 300 awards with its unique skills.
