Kwangwoon University Technology Holding Company, Selected as a Participating Investment Institution in the Korean Intellectual Property Office’s 'Public-Private Cooperation IP Strategy Support Project'

Discovery, Investment, and Overall Management of 5 IP Startups -
Kwangwoon
University's Technology Holding Company has been selected as a participating
private investment institution, along with Joonsung IP & Law Firm, Kookmin
University Technology Holding, and New Paradigm Investment, for the Korean
Intellectual Property Office's '2024 Public-Private Cooperation IP Strategy
Support Project,' which supports both startup investment and patent
commercialization strategies.
The
selected private investment institutions are recognized for their investment
capabilities, as well as their expertise in intellectual property and startup
planning capabilities, and through the new project this year, they plan to directly
discover and invest in companies with government support.
Each
private investment institution will find five IP startups and invest more than
70 million won per company by December and will oversee the management of the
companies' intellectual property as a chief IP executive. Each institution will
also help startups attract investment and open up markets through consulting
support to secure funding and expand global markets.

Han, CEO of Kwangwoon University's Technology Holding Company, expressed his
ambition, saying, "Through this new project initiated by the Korean
Intellectual Property Office, we will discover promising IP startups and
continue to to support the activation of IP startups and technology investments
on campus."
