Professor Chul-hwan Park (Department of Chemical Engineering) has been awarded the 'Bioengineering Academic Promotion Award' by the Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering -Recognized for academic advancement in bioengineering through active research activities

Professor Chul-hwan Park (Department of Chemical Engineering) received the ‘Bioengineering Academic Promotion Award at the ‘2024 Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (KSBB) Spring Conference and International Symposium’, held at Changwon Convention Center from April 17 to 19. Professor Park, widely recognized as an expert in the field of industrial biotechnology, has been recognized for his contribution to the advancement of biotechnology and has been awarded the New Academic Award (2012), the Dambae Academic Award (2014), and the Beyond Academic Award (2023) from KSBB. Prof. Park has actively conducted research, publishing 253 SCI(E) papers, registering 43 patents, and making 390 academic presentations to date. KSBB, a representative society in the field of bioengineering, has about 10,000 members consisting of experts and corporations, and Prof. Park currently serves as the chairman of the international cooperation committee of the society.
