Kwangwoon University - American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) in Cambodia Sign MOU for Exchange and Cooperation

Contributing to the development of academic and cultural exchange between the
two universities and countries through active exchange and cooperation -
Kwangwoon
University signed an MOU with the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) in
Cambodia in the conference room of Kwangwoon University's Hwado Building on
April 18, at 9 a.m. to actively engage in exchanges related to education and
intellectual activities.
The
signing ceremony was attended by Sun-young Cho, Chairman of Kwangwoon Foundation;
Jangho Chun, President;, Sang-won Min, Executive Vice President for External
Affairs; Nam-young Kim, Dean of Graduate
School ; Seok-jae Jung, Director of the Office of Planning; Jae-hyun Han, Director of the Office of
External and International Affairs; Sung-woo
Jo, International Affairs Team Leader;
and Nivath Kuy, CFO of AUPP, marking the beginning of exchange between the two
institutions.
Through
this MOU, Kwangwoon University and AUPP plan to actively collaborate in various
fields, including exchange of faculty and researchers, sending exchange
students, holding joint research and symposiums, and providing Official
Development Assistance (ODA) in education, including activities contributing to
academic and educational exchange and development. Furthermore, it is expected
that such exchange and cooperation between Kwangwoon University and AUPP will
enhance friendship and goodwill between Korea and Cambodia and contribute to
academic and cultural development.
Prior to the MOU signing, the participants had an hour-long tour of key facilities of Kwangwoon Foundation's subsidiary institutions, including the AI Experience Hall of Kwangwoon Artificial Intelligence High School, Kwangwoon University's Bichsoljae Dormitory, Donghae Art Center, and the Central Library.
