Research team of Professor Sangmin Lee (School of Information Convergence) won President's Award of Korean Federation of Information Technology Society at 2023 Fall ACK (Annual Conference of Korean Information Processing Society)

Min-jeong Kang, a student in Professor Sangmin Lee's research team (Artificial Intelligence Service Lab) at the School of Information Convergence of Kwangwoon University won the President's Award of Korean Federation of Information Technology Society at 2023 Fall ACK (Annual Conference of Korean Information Processing Society) in November.

At the conference, Min-jeong Kang presented an early detection and analysis framework that considers concept drift to maximize production in the semiconductor manufacturing process. She won this award for proposing a learning model that shows robust performance despite data variation and for providing an analysis technique to trace back problematic causal variables when production decreases.

Meanwhile, about 1,000 researchers from academia, research centers, and industry participated in the conference, and large-scale academic exchange activities were held, including the presentation of 518 papers.
