The Research Team of Professor Tae-Jun Ha
(Department of Electronic Materials
Engineering) Selected for the
'2023 Next-Generation Scholar Support Program in the Field of Science and Engineering'
Sang-Jun
Park, a student in the research team of Professor Tae-Jun Ha (Department of
Electronic Materials Engineering), has been selected for the '2023
Next-Generation Scholar Support Program in the Field of Science and
Engineering' supported by the Ministry of Education and the National Research
Foundation of Korea (NRF).
The
'2023 Next-Generation Scholar Support Program in the Field of Science and
Engineering' is a project initiated by the Ministry of Education and the NRF in
2019 to support creative and challenging ideas related to thesis research by
doctoral students in domestic universities. The NRF recently announced the final selection of 330
new projects for research grants for the doctoral students under the '2023
Next-Generation Scholar Support Program in the Field of Science and
Engineering,' and with the selection, graduate student Sang-Jun
Park will receive a total of 40 million won for two years (20 million won
per year) for a two-year research project titled 'Development of Natural
Cellulose Nanohybrid Materials for Implementing Biocompatible Wearable Moisture
Induction Generators.'
Meanwhile, Sang-Jun Park, a student in the research team, has published a total of 24 SCI journals (including papers in the top 3% JCR ranking and cover features) related to next-generation semiconductor materials and foundational technology for electronic components . He has also registered 10 patent applications, presented at more than 20 international and national academic conferences, and has received five awards. Based on these achievements, he was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Researcher Award from the College of Electronics and Information Engineering at our university in 2022.
