Kwangwoon University’s Student Entrepreneurship Team "Practical" Wins the 2023 EduPlus Award in Coding Education Challenge

Kwangwoon University's student entrepreneurship team, "Practical," has won the "Coding Education Challenge Award" at the 2023 EduPlus Awards, held by EduPlus Week.

The 2023 EduPlus Awards were organized to foster the development of the domestic EduTech and education industry, lead in the global market, and discover outstanding domestic companies which provide smart learning environments and the direction of the future of education in the digital transformation era. "Practical" was honored to be one of the top 10 EduTech participant companies among 175 educational institutions from 10 countries.

"Practical" is a student entrepreneurship team composed of current Kwangwoon University students. They began their venture in 2023 with a preliminary startup package and have since embarked on their full-fledged business journey. Currently, they specialize in the EduTech field and are based at the Seoul Startup Didimter, where they offer their self-developed coding education game called "ColonVerse" to middle schools and youth centers in Seoul. Having invested over two years in content development, its core competitiveness is its own high-quality, self-developed content.

Kang Yeong-gu, the representative of "Practical," stated, "ColonVerse”, our teacher-friendly online platform developed by “Practical”, is an innovative solution that provides students with a new experience in coding education through an educational game that offers both fun and learning. We will continue to strive to enter the domestic coding education market and expand globally."
