Kwangwoon University Signs MOU With Korea Digital Health Industry Association for Curriculum Development in the Field of Digital Healthcare
- Combining ICT and Healthcare, Joining Hands to Foster Professionals to Secure Domestic Competitiveness in the Digital Healthcare Field -

Kwangwoon University signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Digital Health Industry Association for the development of the field of 'digital healthcare', a convergence of ICT and healthcare, and the cultivation of professional talent on February 2nd.
This MOU was signed to discover specialized
jobs in the field of ‘digital healthcare’, which is attracting attention due to
the convergence of ICT and healthcare, and to nurture talents in the industry. Through
this agreement, the two organizations promised; development of digital
healthcare field curriculum; discovery of specialized jobs in the field; cooperation
in the development and operation of job certification evaluation; establishment
of governance in the industry and academia to vitalize the curriculum.
Kim Hyung-wook, president of the Korea
Digital Health Industry Association, said, "We will work hard to cultivate
professional talents in the 'digital healthcare' field, which is emerging as a
future food industry in the digital transformation era with Kwangwoon
University, which has secured education expertise as a specialized
university."
President Jongheon Kim said, “Keep an eye on the rapidly changing technology and industrial paradigm, lead the way in developing jobs in the newly emerging digital healthcare field, and generously invest in educational resources and quality improvement to secure the competitiveness of the country and universities. He said, “We will do our best to foster true talent tailored to the field to meet the demand for high-tech talent at the national level, the desire for new technology and knowledge, and the feedback of the industry.”
