Kwangwoon University Won the Ice Hockey Championship at the 104th National Winter Sports Festival 

Kwangwoon University’s ice hockey team participated as a representative of Seoul at the 104th National Winter Sports Festival held on February 14 (Tuesday), and won 11 to 1 against Kyunghee University, representing Gyeonggi-do, and won the gold medal with the championship.

Kwangwoon University's ice hockey department has achieved a splendid feat of winning four consecutive victories following the championship in 2019, 2020, and 2022 (the 2021 competition was not held due to Corona 19) by winning this competition.

Kwangwoon University's ice hockey team coach Kim Young-jo said, "Some of the players were late to join the team training, so they didn't have enough time to adjust their hands and feet, and it was a worrying situation in adapting to the new stadium without training." He said, “The players managed their condition well and became one and were able to win even in a difficult environment.”
