2023 Spring Semester Information on Korean Classes Placement (Compulsory Subjects) for International Undergraduate Students

(Including all freshmen, transfer, enrolled, and exchange students in the Spring Semester of 2023) 

Please check the results of the Korean language course placement for international undergraduate students in the first semester of 2023 below. Make sure to check the course and class time you are taking before attending the class.

■ How to check the placement results

   1. Download all the attachments

   2. Information is sorted in the order of student number (학번)

   3. Search for your name or student number using the Ctrl+F

     ※ Please check if your name, student number, and department are all written correctly.

■ Compulsory Korean Language Courses (for international students)

■ Course Registration

  1. Since the classes from the Korean Language Course are automatically registered by the International Education Center, there is no need for students to register them.

·Students cannot register for Korean language courses by themselves.

·Undergraduate students can check the details of course registration for the Korean language course after 6 pm on Friday, February 17th. Log in to KLAS and check your class schedule.

·Freshmen and transfer students enrolled in the Spring 2023 can check the details of course registration for the Korean language course after 6 pm on Tuesday, February 21st. Log in to KLAS and check your class schedule.

  2. Before registering for other courses, check your Korean courses, credits, and class hours.

  3. Korean course credits/class time: 3 credits/3 hours per subject.

4. When registering for other courses, keep in mind that you cannot register for courses that overlap with the Korean class hours.

5. You can register for up to 19 credits including Korean courses. 

        * Example: If you are taking 3 Korean courses (9 credits), you can register for up to 10 credits for other courses.
