Best Paper Award at ICOIN 2023

Prof. Jung Kwang-soo’s team of Department of Electronic Communication Engineering won the Best Paper Award at ICOIN 2023 (The 37th International Conference on Information Networking) held at Bangkok, Thailand in January.

Ph.D. student Park Jinho & Prof. Jung Kwang-soo presented paper titled “Collaborative Computation Offloading Scheme Based on DRL” at ICOIN 2023. This paper proposes a method to improve work processing performance through efficient collaboration based on deep learning in an edge computing environment. It is expected to be used as a basic technology to effectively use limited computing resources in a 5G network environment.

Meanwhile, ICOIN is an international academic conference that started in 1986 and celebrates its 37th year this year. It is a well-known academic event in the field of information communication, network and Internet technology sponsored by IEEE Computer Society, IEICE Communications Society, KIISE and KICS. At this ICOIN 2023, 157 papers from 31 countries around the world were published.
