2022 Kwangwoon Global Challenger Outstanding Activity Award Ceremony

The Office of International Affairs of Kwangwoon University held the "2022 Kwangwoon Global Challenger Outstanding Activity Team Award Ceremony" on January 31.

At the Award Ceremony, Team All 모두모두팀(Kim Dong-wook, Park Chae-eun, Lee Kang-ah) and Team NS Wannabe NS워너비팀(Kim Ga-young, Jung Yoo-rim, Cho Yoo-jin) won the Excellence award and Team Kwangwoon Carbon Neutral Expedition 광운탄소중립원정대팀(Hwang Kwang-il, Kang Tae-joon, Moon Jong-ho) was awarded.

All seven teams presented their results based on their themes through the tour results presentation. The ‘Kwangwoon Carbon Neutral Expedition Team’, ‘All Team’ and ‘NS Wannabe Team’ achieved excellent results under the themes of ‘Domestic Implementation of European Environmental Policy for Carbon Neutrality & Meeting of Esg Companies', 'German Barrier-Free Case & Citizenship Exploration', and ‘Proposal of Domestic Smart Farm Development Direction through Benchmarking of Leading Smart Farm Companies’ each respectively.

Meanwhile, Kwangwoon Global Challenger is a program conducted annually by Office of International Affairs to improve students' leadership and global minds by exploring various fields such as information and communication, engineering, economy, management, natural science, humanities, society, sports, arts, and culture. A total of seven teams were selected for the 2022 Kwangwoon Global Challenger, including four European and American teams and three Asian teams, after screening in November 2022. Starting with the launching ceremony on December 20, overseas tours were conducted with their respective themes until January.
