- Prime Minister’s Award at the TWINNY and
MINTROBOT Robot Marketing Competition -
Kwangwoon University “Shared AI-Robotics Education” students won 3 awards in 2 categories of the 8th R-BIZ Challenge (2022.10.27-29), including the Prime Minister Award.
[TWINNY Marketing Contest Prime Minister Award, the “너도나도따르고” team]
At the TWINNY marketing
competition, the “너도나도따르고” team proposed a rental service
marketing idea that replaces the transportation of installations in large
exhibition spaces with robots. They received the Prime Minister's Award. The members
of the “너도나도따르고” team: Changkyu Baek (Department of
Electronic Biophysics), Eunho Kim (Department of Robotics), Sujeong Kim
(Department of Business Administration).

Strategy Contest Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, the “연결고리” team]
In the MINTROBOT Marketing Strategy Contest,
the “연결고리” team proposed a marketing idea that utilizes a
robot manipulator in the home kit manufacturing process. They were awarded by
the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy. The “연결고리” members:
Kyuho Lee (Department of Robotics), Soyeon Lee (Department of Information
Convergence), Taegeun Lee (Department of Information Contents), Jihoon Ha
(Gachon University).
The “밥주걱” team
proposed a marketing idea for packaging work using robot manipulators in the
meat processing process. They received the Korea Robot Promotion Institute
Award. The “밥주걱” members: Hayoung Park (Department of
Robotics), Jeongyeon Hwang (Department of Electrical Engineering), Dongwook Kim
(Department of Media Communication).
[Mint Robot Marketing Strategy Contest KIRIA Winner "밥주걱" Team]
"Shared AI-Robotics Education" conducts a non-subject
program for the study of intelligent robots, in which students can participate,
regardless of their department and grade. The purpose of this program is to
develop student's abilities in the field of new technologies, through the
exchange of education in the field of intelligent robots.
Hwang Jeong-yeon, a student at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Kwangwoon University, who participated in this contest, said, “Thanks to this program I got valuable experience. I was able to learn many practical things, such as basic presentations, ppt composition, data research, and 3D visualization, so I most definitely broadened my basic knowledge on robots.”
