Professor Seo Young-ho (Department of Electronic Materials Engineering)

Received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the 23rd Small and Medium Business Technology Innovation Competition 

On October 20, 2022 (Thursday), the 23rd Small and Medium Business Technology Innovation Competition (hosted by: Ministry of SMEs and Startups / Organized by: Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency, and others) was held. In recognition of his contribution to technological innovation and industrial development, Professor Seo Young-ho (Department of Electronic Material Engineering) of Kwangwoon University was selected as a person of merit for technological cooperation (industry-university-research sector) and received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award. 

Professor Seo Young-ho has achieved outstanding research results through industry-university cooperative R&D. He contributed to the development of the industry by conducting technology transfer and technology development. This award was given in recognition of outstanding research achievements through various industry-academic cooperation R&D (21 SCI international papers, 27 KCI-registered papers, 17 patent registrations, 4 international patent applications, 7 technology transfers, etc.).

The industry-academy-research cooperation technology development project supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and managed by Kwangwoon University's Small Business Industry-University Cooperation Center has been participating in the project since 1999. It has successfully carried out about 350 projects and is currently involved in eight projects as of 2022.
