Kwangwoon University Professor Tae-Jun Ha’s (Department of
Electronic Material Engineering) research team produced and applied functional
fibers based on multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) and gelatin. They
succeeded in developing a moisture induction generator that can continuously
generate electricity. The results of this study were published in Nano Energy
(IF: 19.069, JIF ranking: 94.93%), the top international academic journal in
the field of energy based on nano material technology published by Elsevier. It
was published under the title "All-solution-processed wearable
moist-electric generators based on engineered nanocomposites of carbon nanotube
and gelatin incorporated with PEDOT:PSS interfacial blocking layer".

This study was carried out by Professor
Tae-Jun Ha's research team at Kwangwoo University, and supported by the
mid-level research support project of the National Research Foundation of Korea
hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the academic
research of Kwangwoon University. In addition, a patent application for a
moisture induction generator related to advanced nanomaterial-based energy
research has been registered.
