Kwangwoon University President Visited and Encouraged Students Reserved Forces

About 2,500 Kwangwoon University Reserved Forces students participated in training at the Geumgok Science Training Center at the beginning of the 2022 fall semester.

President Kim Jongheon personally experienced the student reserve army training. He promoted security awareness and provided snacks to incoming student reservists. 

President Kim Jongheon said, “Through reserve army training, the student reserve army will be always prepared for national safety. I hope that through this training, I will be able to train my body and mind once again and further contribute to society,” he said.

All reservists who arrived at the reserve force training ground went into training safely after checking for fever with a rapid antigen test. The training effect was enhanced through the training conducted by a professional instructor along with scientific equipment such as the state-of-the-art indoor shooting range deployed at the scientific training ground, urban combat equipment using Miles equipment, and video simulation shooting equipment using virtual reality (VR) technology.
