However, if a student in the expected graduation semester (8th/10th (Department of Architecture) semester) withdraws from 6 credits and to less than 12 credits, he/she can apply directly at KLAS.

8. Additional Information

  A. Credit Range

 From 2017 student ID number: (min)12 - (max)19 credits

The minimum credits limit for students in the expected graduation semester (8th/10th (Department of Architecture) semester) is 6 credits.

Those who have completed more than 8 semesters (or 10 semesters in the Department of Architecture) can register for courses with less than the minimum credits (12 credits).

The maximum number of credits that can be applied is added when applying the credit transfer system (applied until 2016) and the conditional maximum credit application system (applied from 2017). (Refer to the detailed course registration materials)

  B.  Since the course registration program has been changed from the 2021 semester, please be sure to read the instructions on how to use the course registration program before registering. (Check the Notice)

It is recommended to install a new course registration program before registering to check if it is properly installed.

C. Since the subject of “English Conversation” (영어회화) is removed from the required elective course list since the 2019 academic year, it will also be removed from the graduation requirements starting from February 2019. Please note that as of the 2019 academic year, “College English” (대학영어) is compulsory for all students. (Among those who were accepted before the 2019 academic year, students who did not have College English as a required subject may not take it.)

Please also note that the elective required course from the 2020 school year has been changed to “Convergence Thinking and Writing (융합적사고와글쓰기)”

  D.     You can log in to the course registration program from midnight of the registration date, and you can search courses, mark your favorites, and check availability.

  E. As the curriculum changes in the 2022 academic year, many subject names have been changed, be sure to check the “Course Status Table” (동일교과목 현황표) (it will be announced later) in the course registration materials.

(If you apply for the same course that was previously completed, your application either will be denied, or the course will be considered retaken.)

  F. When registering for elective courses

You cannot apply for more than two classes of the same difficulty level in one elective course area (-> 1 course per difficulty level).

How to check the difficulty: 5th digit of the course number (i.e. 0000-1-1077-01 영어회화   difficulty level 1)

For e-learning subjects in the Seoul area, you must log in and take classes on a separate website (www.selc.or.kr).

100% online courses of KWU can be taken in KLAS.

  G. From the second semester of 2018, the system has been changed so that spare seats are not immediately created when registering for popular courses to prevent course trading. For more details, please refer to the course registration materials (spare seats do not appear immediately, even if you cancel your course after all the places are filled).
