Professor Lee Ji-hoon (Electronic Engineering),
MDPI Nanomaterials (IF: 5.719), general editor of Special Issue, published more than 60 papers
Professor Jihoon Lee (Department of Electronic
Engineering) of the university is the general editor of 'Special Issue on
Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials: Selected Papers from CCMR', a special
edition of Nanomaterials (IF: 5.719), an international journal of the MDPI
Publishing Group, and has been submitted from more than 20 countries around the
world. A total of 63 papers were published.
MDPI Publisher's Nanomaterials special edition
'Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials' is being published under an agreement
between the MDPI Publishing Group and the Collaborative Conference on Materials
Research (CCMR) International Society for Materials Research. To date, a total
of 63 research and review papers have been published through a rigorous review
process. Published papers include characterization/application of nanomaterials
and devices, including carbon nanotubes, graphene, metals, oxide materials,
polymers, molecules, nanoparticles, nanowires, quantum dots, etc.
Nanomaterials is a SCI/E (JCR Q1 Category, IF 5.719)
index journal that publishes research papers and reviews related to
nanomaterials and related device applications. Lee Ji-hoon, the general editor
of the special edition, encourages the submission of the thesis to 'Special
Issue on Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials: Selected Papers from CCMR'
(hereafter Nanomaterials special edition) Final decision on whether or not to
publish the paper .
Professor Jihoon Lee, who served as the general editor,
will serve as the general editor of the special edition untill September 2022,
and he said, “I am honored to participate as an editor in this special edition
of Nanomaterials. I'll like to express my gratitude to my fellow researchers
who have served as multiple authors and reviewers in more than 20 countries for
giving me, and it was usefull opportunity for me to do a globally recognized
service in the nanomaterial/device application field, which is a promising
next-generation field.”
Meanwhile, Professor Jihoon Lee received his Ph.D. from
Arkansas State University, USA, and is currently researching energy materials
with high energy efficiency and excellent performance, various nanomaterials
based on metasurfaces, optoelectronic devices, and system technologies. He has
published over 140 SCI JCR top-ranked papers so far. Proffessor served as
Assistant Editor (2010-2018) in the journal Nanoscale Research Letters (SCI IF:
5.418) at Springer press, and as Guest Editor in various SCI-level
international journals, including Editorial Board (2018-present) at Nanoscale
Research Letters. Is being carried out he also serves on different committees
and organizers of international conferences. He has been working as a reviewer
for over 30 SCI journals, including Advanced Materials (IF 32.09), Advanced
Functional Materials (IF 19.92), Nano Energy (IF 17.88), and for the past 20
years.
