Youth Startup Support Center Selected as Gyeonggi-Do Excellent Youth Space

- In Gyeonggi, the Guri-si Young Startup Support Center and 7 Other Places were Selected as Excellent Youth Spaces in 2022 

The Guri City Youth Startup Support Center, established by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation (Director: Chul-Hwan Park), is located in Gyeonggi-do. It was selected as an Excellent Youth Space in the 2022 Gyeonggi Youth Space Activation Project hosted by the Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation. 

Gyeonggi-do conducted a contest to select excellent youth spaces for the Gyeonggi Youth Space, a complex space for youth employment/startup counseling and cultural events. Seven out of the fifteen spaces applied for the contest were selected. The selection was based on on-site evaluation, presentation of excellent programs, user surveys, and decision of the Selection Deliberation Committee.

The Guri Youth Startup Support Center will receive 30 million won for the program operation and advertising costs.

The Guri City Young Startup Support Center reflects the needs of youth in each support project by actively communicating with local youth. It is planned to take the lead as the primary space for youth activities in the region, improving quality and addressing challenges through satisfaction surveys.
