Information on the Prevention of Sexual Violence and Understanding of Korean Laws Compulsory Course for International Students in 2022
※ Important notice With the 2022 International Education Quality Assurance System
(IEQAS), all undergraduate and graduate degree program international students
are obliged to choose between online and offline
lectures according to the guide below. During the first and second rounds, only about 50% of
the students passed the compulsory education course and about 50% of the
students still haven’t done it. Students who haven’t pass the online or
offline course during the first and second rounds must do it in the third
round! |
1. Background
and Purpose
- The IEQAS evaluation index for 2022 will include the completion rate of Sexual Violence
Prevention Education (passing standard 80%), and Korean Laws Education (passing standard: one lecture per semester /60%)
- Prepare for IEQAS in 2022 and prevent crimes
against international students
2. Participants
- Degree program international students (undergraduate, graduate school) who did not
take the educational course in the first and second rounds

not pass the course and must pass it in the second round!
3. Education
content
- Online / Offline lectures “Crime
Prevention Education for Foreigners” provided by the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Korean
National Police Agency
- Contents of lectures: Domestic violence, child abuse, sexual violence, digital crime, fraud (voice phishing), traffic crime, gambling, drugs, exemption from notification of undocumented
immigrants, and others.

- Content: Choose a desired language and register for the video
"Crime Prevention (Sexual Violence Prevention and Understanding Korean
Law) Education" loaded on the KWMOOC site

b. Offline training
- Venue: Donghae Art Center Building, Room #121
- Date and time: You must choose one session among twelve and attend the
lecture only once.

- Watching the video “Crime
Prevention Education for Foreigners” is
