Prof. Lee Taek’s Research Team (Department of Chemical Engineering) Won the Best Poster Presentation Award
Park
Go-eun (member of Prof. Lee Taek’s research team), a student in the master's
course in Chemical Engineering at Kwangwoon University, won the Best Poster
Presentation Award at the "2022 The Korean Biochip Society Spring
Conference" held from May 18 to 20, 2022.
The Korean Biochip Society is a research
society that concentrates on manufacturing chips by combining biological
materials such as proteins, DNA, cells, and tissues with inorganic materials
such as silicon, and researches proteomics, functional genomics, and Bio-MEMS,
nanotechnology, biosensor, and bioinformatics.
Park
Go-eun’s presentation theme was "Electrical Capacitance Biosensor
Consisted of Aptamer/MXene on Micro-Gap Electrode/PCB System for Zika Virus
Detection in Human Serum" in the fields of "Biosensor
Technology" and "Biomaterials". This research theme and
biosensor manufacturing method was recognized and awarded for their excellence.
Professor Lee Taek's research team has received several awards from various academic societies (such as the 2021 Fall Conference of the Korean Society for Biomaterials (2 awards), the Fall Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial Chemistry in 2021, the Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Biomaterials 2022, etc.). We expect more fruitful results in future research as well.
