2021 Fall - Officially Approved Leave for Vaccination Information

The Ministry of Education recommended “Officially Approved Leave for Vaccination” to be operated for students to be vaccinated as reservations for vaccinations for citizens under the age of 40 are in progress during the academic operation period of the fall semester of the 2021 school year. The “Officially Approved Leave for Vaccination” is implemented as follows. Eligible students should check the following and submit the relevant during the semester to apply for attendance recognition.

1. Officially Approved Leave for Vaccination Enforcement

A. Eligibility: Enrolled students for Fall 2021 semester who is eligible for COVID-19 vaccination

B. Period: Under 40 years of age, within the period of 1st and 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine

C. Approved absence for Vaccination

1) Accreditation period: 2 days in total (vaccination day and 1 day after vaccination)

2) Submission: Application form, Vaccination confirmation

3) Document submission and approval procedure

- Vaccinated students must directly submit the application form and vaccination confirmation to the instructor in charge of the course

- The instructor in charge of the course checks the attendance of the student as “approved leave’ to KW Attendance System

  4) Eligible Courses

- Not applicable to online course (KLAS recorded online course)

- Only applicable to offline and real-time (ZOOM, Webex, etc.) online course

D. The above matter temporarily applies to face-to-face courses for the fall semester of 2021
