2021 Spring Information on Recognition of Inability to Participate in Offline Class (Exam)

 

Prior to the start of spring semester of 2021, we will guide to recognition of reasons of inability to participate in offline classes due to the risk of COVID-19 infection and related details as follows.

 

Members of the school must pay special attention to personal quarantine, such as fever check and wearing a mask, and students who are unable to participate in the class due to the following reasons for recognition during the semester must fill out the attached form and submit it according to the specified procedure.

 

1. Reasons for recognition of inability to participate in offline class.

Recognizable reasons of inability to participate in offline class (exam).

Submission (supporting) documents

 Those who are currently residing abroad and are unable to return to Korea due to the policy of the country of stay and lack of flights

-Documents related to immigration records

[Common] Application Form(Attachment 1)

 Those who have undergone self-isolation measures and the period of self-isolation includes the day of in-person class

- Official document stating the period of self-isolation (in case of self-isolation due to family confirmation, a certificate of family relations is also submitted)

 Those who are unable to attend school due to mental and physical reasons recognized by a doctor

- Doctor's certificate or opinion

 Those who fall under the reasons for recognition of attendance for offline class (early employment, congratulations and condolences, hospitalization, etc.)

-Employment certificate, congratulations and condolences, hospital admission confirmation, etc.

 COVID-19 symptoms (fever, respiratory symptoms, nausea, etc.)

-Health office 'Self-isolation notice'

AAmong the above reasons for recognition, students who fall under “④ Reasons for Recognition of Attendance in Offline Class must submit a Application for Recognition of Inability to Participate in Offline Class to the teacher in charge of the class, and “Recognition of Absence Document” to their department. Make sure you are not penalized for attendance.

BThe above items are temporarily applied to offline classes for the spring semester of 2021. 

 

2. Procedure

AStudentSubmit an application for recognition of inability to participate in offline class and evidence documents to the teacher in charge by no later than the class date.

BFacultyAfter reviewing the application, individual notification of follow-up measures (information on how to participate in classes, such as uploading online contents, alternative evaluation methods, etc.) will be notified to students.
