2021 Implementation of Major Transfer System Information
The following is an information on the implementation of the major transfer system for students enrolled as 1st and 2nd grade as of 2020 and students who are scheduled to return to school in 2021 spring semester as 2nd or 3rd grade. Please apply within the deadline.
1. Major Transfer Application
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled
1st and 2nd grade students as of 2020 (those expected to
be promoted to 2nd and 3rd grade)
- Students taking a semester break scheduled to return to
school in the spring semester of 2021 as 2nd or 3rd grade.
2. Implementation Schedule
(Schedules are subject to change depending on the grade processing schedule and
examination schedule)

B. Application
submission: 2020. 11. 23(Mon) ~ 12. 11(Fri), 3 weeks
C. College
application examination: 2021. 1. 14(Thu) ~ 1. 18(Mon)
D. College application
approval: 2021. 1. 19(Tue) ~ 1. 22(Fri)
E. Selection
of applicants (Held by the General Deliberation Committee): Last week of Jan 2021.
F. Final announcement:

A. Application

of candidates for the 1st deliberation (based on the qualifications specified)
C. The
transfer deliberation committee for each college determines the priorities of
the applicant and whether or not to transfer/transfer.
D. Approval
from the General Deliberation Committee and college
E. Major
change process complete
4. Application Criteria

(Application is accepted before the deadline for the second
semester, so it is possible to apply after paying the transcript issuance fee.)
6. Notes
A. Course
completion and credit recognition
: Students who are approved for change of major must complete option and
major courses in accordance with the curriculum of the department they transferred
from and must acquire requires courses for the department.
B. Cancellation
: If a person who had obtained a prior transfer approval wishes to cancel
the transfer, he or she must submit a transfer request with the permission of
the university president by the specific date before the start of the semester.
7. Guidance
on Submission of Confirmation of Foreign Language Education Program Subsidy
A. When a
student of the following faculty applying a foreign language education program
applies for a transfer to a department that does not apply to a foreign
language education program, the attached [Foreign Language Education Program
Subsidy Confirmation Form] must be filled out and submitted with the transfer
application form after stamping the affiliated department head and college president.
