2020-Fall Coming-back Application Guide for International Students

The following is a guide to undergraduate international students regarding the process, documents, and visa for coming-back application.

* Students who have paid tuition when applying for leave of absence will issue an admission letter from 2020.7.3(Fri) after submitting the required documents.

B. How to apply

1) Fill the google form application (https://forms.gle/AQEkPFEiD5Wmmfqf6)

2) Submit required documents to (robin0897@kw.ac.kr email)

- Application form (See the attachment)

- Copy of passport

  C. Tuition payment method: Virtual account (Follow-up guidance to applicants)

D. Issuance of admission letter: After conforming the tuition payment and documents, admission letter and a copy of business registration card of this university will be issued and sent to the address written in google form. (Please enter the correct address and contact information)

  E. Notes

1) After this period, applicants can pay tuition and issue admission letter after 2020.8.17 (Mon).

2) Classes for fall semester of 2020 (whether online or not) will be finalized in August.

3) Please consider the circumstances such as flight instability caused by COVID-19 and self-isolation of overseas students and decide whether to apply for coming-back application after careful consideration.

4) Leave of absence can be applied on a yearly basis and Is available for two consecutive years and 3 years in total.

* Students who applied for a leave of absence in March 2020 will be suspended for one year until March 2021, can return to school in advance or extend their leave for one year.

 

2. D-2 Visa issuance guide

A. Required documents (common)

* Visa application, passport, one photo (taken within 6 months), fee

* A copy business registration of the institution

Standard admission letter

Tuberculosis certificate (Only in the country concerned)

Proof of final academic background (Original submission)

Proof of financial competence (20,000USD)

Proof of family relationship (Only if you have submitted your parent’s proof of balance, etc.)

 

When applying for a visa, the required documents may be changed according to the national and competent officials, so be sure to apply after viewing the D-2 application method on the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

Additional documents due to COVID 19 (such as a medical certificate issued within 48 hours) may be required, so be sure to check in advance.
