The Office of International Affairs offers a mentoring program for international students to help them adjust to their study life, establish a stable Korean university life, and to strengthen multicultural communication through exchange between domestic students and international students.
1. No. of students: 70 Korean/International students each
2. Activity period: 2020/5/4 ~ 2020/6/26 (2020 spring semester)
3. Activities
A. Mentoring school
life, including the use of on-campus facilities.
B. Mentoring Seoul
life such as using public transportation such as subways and buses, using
government offices, opening bankbooks, etc.
C. Understanding
each other's culture and strengthening communication skills.
D. Other activities
which helps international students.
4. Eligibility
A. Mentors are only available to students
who have enrolled for more than one semester at Kwangwoon University.
B. TOPIK 3 or above (Only for international students)
5. Activities Compliance
A. Meeting once a week (1 hour), minimum 10
hours of mentoring activities
B. Submit a mentoring activity report (10
hours or more)
